Grant Laughter Jewelry is a 2nd generation jeweler based out of Asheville North Carolina since 1973. You can read about our history, or see our mission statement and core values, or see the people who make us amazing.
If you didn’t click the link above, our core values are “Grant Laughter Jewelry endeavors, through the teachings of Christ, to operate with transparency in our procedures, honesty in our pricing, fairness in our interactions, and clarity in our communication”. That’s a lot of verbiage to mean that we will treat you with dignity, respect, and honesty no matter who you are or why you want to visit us. If its jewelry, we want to be your source for life. We all live in the area and we strive to make an impact for the positive every day with each client in our store. Hopefully you will come see us and experience the difference a multi-generational, local family owned jeweler can bring to your jewelry life.
We want to give back to our community and make a difference in the world. If corporations are counted as people in todays world, we believe that we should act like a person and care. We look local first and outside after, but both are important and we have two initiatives going every day to make sure that we succeed. We strive to make our community and the world at large a better place.
Our initiatives
Green Jewelry:
Our goal of 95% recycled, upcycled, low impact, and living wage income for producers. We want our jewelry to be guilt free by being conflict free. Every piece we sell if free from any source of conflict. We want to be able to use our company to help raise the living quality of the people we purchase from to impact their lives now and their children’s. We also only work with designers, dealers, cutters, and vendors who follow the same initiatives as we do to reduce the impact on the earth for gems and metals used in our jewelry.
Donations:
Our goal is to partner with as many organizations as we can in our local community. Asheville has so many positive groups working every day to make a difference in our community. Some of the organizations we have worked with to raise money are Habitat for Humanity, Brother Wolf Animal Rescue, Charlies Angels Animal Rescue, MANA Food Bank, On Eagles Wings Ministry, Miss Asheville & Miss Blue Ridge Valley Pageant Scholarship, TERPSICORP Theatre of Dance, Jewelers for Children, Friends of the NRA, Ducks Unlimited.
